Start with a professional image. Go with the clean and most professional looking pic you have – and upgrade it. In addition, always remember to smile! Make your headline be distinctive. By default, LinkedIn populates your headline with your occupation title and current organization, but you do not have to leave it like that. Consider speaking directly to your audience about your specialities. If you want you to be noticeable, include the keywords, if you do not want any attention on that, consider avoiding industry jargons to stand out. Try to cut your headline to 10 words.
